Modern Marketing Summit After Party Described in 3 Songs

This past Monday I was tasked with setting the mood at a venerable New York institution for some marketers that have been listening, talking and networking all day. I had to present a soundtrack that made everyone feel alive without being too overbearing. In a perfectly decorated space at The Jane Hotel rooftop, I took the guests on a journey through different decades and grooves. Check out the 3 highlights below.

1. George Benson - What's On Your Mind

George Benson sets the perfect tone. Trust me. His smooth sound updated by the Swedish producer DiscoTech, was the perfect beginning. Check out the original below and the updated edit here.

2. Phoenix - Trying To Be Cool

Phoenix, to me is the coolest band. They have a distinct sound. It's lush and full of flavor. Breakbot does an incredible job remixing this already great song into a perfect smooth number. Check out the original below and the Breakbot remix here.

3. Midnight Pool Party - Waiting

Nothing speaks rooftop cocktails like the band Midnight Pool Party. They sound young, hip and exciting. Everything about the music seems perfectly crafted without any extra elements. This is one of my favorite songs of the spring. Enjoy it below and check out some of their other tunes on Spotify.
