Jun 5 A Trip To The Jungle Sponsored By Merkaela

As part of my daily life as a curator I wear many hats. Sometimes that hat is one of a lover of underground electronic music and advocate for music that is less known to the masses. A few months ago I had a pretty deep conversation with my friend and founder of Merkaela, Cristian Valbuena, and we came to the conclusion that music at it's core has universal appeal to almost everyone. When you devoid music of language we sometimes don't understand, it unites us under the banner of rhythm, melody and energy. As a DJ I've experienced many cultures reacting to many cultures and sometimes the purest of sounds gets the most significant reaction.

I was tasked with creating this short mix under my Edgito moniker, and combining all my favorite sounds that resemble a night somewhere in the warm jungle surrounded by people who love that perfect thump of the kick drum and the warm feeling of the bass. Steam the mix below or here.
